The Snetterton Mini Festival returns this weekend, and we hope you’re looking forward to visiting the Norfolk circuit. To help you make the most of your trip, here is some useful information about this event.
Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8.30am on Saturday and 9.00am on Sunday.
Advance ticket holders who elected to receive tickets by post (not print-at-home) will need to bring their original tickets to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to:
MotorSport Vision Centre
Brands Hatch Circuit
Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.
The grandstand at Murray’s corner will be open, and tickets are available at the stand on each day for £5.
Official event programmes are on sale from the gate, circuit office and souvenir stand at Murrays for £5.
Pit lane walk
Get up close and personal with the race cars of the MINI CHALLENGE in a competitive environment at 13:15 on Sunday when the circuit is opened for a public pit lane walk (free of charge). Here you can meet the drivers, and pose for photos with the cars. Make sure you queue in plenty of time as these are always massively popular!
Snetterton’s children’s playground, located by Tyrrells Restaurant, has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14. There are climbing frames, swings and much more. Plus, we’ve got a free 30ft climbing wall on Sunday for children (and adults!), with a baby bouldering wall for the under 5s, and a funfair and bouncy castles (charges apply).
Part of what makes the Mini Festival events so special is the enthusiasm of car clubs and individual owners who show off their prized, pocket-sized possessions. Areas of the venue will be busy with special display cars old and new, and the owners are always more than happy to chat to you about their cars.
Mini top 20
Our Mini top 20 is new for 2018, sponsored by professional valeting manufacturer ValetPRO, and rewarding the top 20 cars on display with trophies and car cleaning kits. One special car will be named ‘car of the show’. All Minis at the event will be automatically included in the awards. Trophy presentation will take place on Sunday at 14:00 from the music stage.
Live music & evening entertainment
Our live music is presented in association with Heineken and features bands throughout the day on Sunday and a DJ and band in Tyrells on Saturday night. Sunday’s bands are Odd Man Out, Robert Payne and The Anyones. We’ve got an outdoor cinema too with the original The Italian Job being shown on a big screen on Saturday night.
We have a great line-up of historic F1 cars taking to the track on Sunday at 12:35 and 15:10. See and hear these amazing cars in all their glory as they roar round the 300 circuit.
Camping is available in the designated area from midday on Friday until midday on Monday, with full toilet and shower facilities located in the Paddock area. The price is £30 for adults and £18 for 13 to 15 year olds.
Please note - the price for camping does not include venue admission.
We have a weekend full of Mini and great support races. To find out times click here to download the race timetable for this weekend.
Mini parade lap
To close off what will be a great weekend of Mini racing, on Sunday evening all display Minis at the event will be invited onto the Snetterton Circuit for a number of parade laps. Line-up will start at approximately 17:55, circuit officials will marshal you into place.
